Give & Volunteer
Alumni support is critical to the University. State funding currently provides only about 8 percent of the University’s $2 billion annual operating budget and only 14 percent of the Academic Division budget. At the Alumni Association, the support of members and donors make numerous programs and services possible, such as Reunions, the Virginia Magazine, admission and career support, the Jefferson Trust, and a variety of scholarships and student programs. Volunteer opportunities provide an avenue for alumni to support the University in non-financial ways.
