Cavalier Day Camp is a fun recreational, motivational, and educational adventure for children going into grades 1-5. CDC is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services as a "Child Day Center". Four, two-week sessions are offered June 12-August 4. We incorporate swimming, music, drama, nature activities, and arts and crafts into our programming. Campers are grouped according to their year in school. Depending on their age, campers may visit museums, community attractions, and nature areas for hiking and canoeing throughout the summer. Campers begin and end their day at the UVA Slaughter Recreation Center. Each camper will receive a T-shirt that's sure to be a summer favorite.
