Legacy Services
The Alumni Association's Admission Liaison Program offers daily legacy information sessions and 30-minute individual meetings.
Daily Legacy Information Sessions
Every weekday, our office hosts a legacy information session. The Alumni Association's legacy sessions (held in Alumni Hall) are scheduled at 9 AM as we encourage visiting families to attend the 10 AM general information session and student-led tour offered by the Office of Undergraduate Admission. The legacy information session covers the role of the ALP in the admission process, legacy admission statistics and a discussion of the basic elements of a competitive legacy application. It is important for both the parent and the student to attend.
Note: Legacy information sessions will not be held on the following dates:
- February 7, 2007
- May 28, 2007
- June 15, 2007
- July 4, 2007
- August 30, 2007
- September 3, 2007
- November 22, 2007 - November 23, 2007
- December 24, 2007 - December 26, 2007
- January 1, 2008
- January 14, 2008
30-minute Individual Meetings
After attending a legacy information session, alumni families may schedule individual meetings with the director or assistant director of the ALP. The director or assistant director will spend 30 minutes with the legacy and his/her parents. The student brings a copy of his/her high school's profile (a handout containing information about the school; the guidance office normally has these) and an unofficial copy of his/her transcript so that we can have a concrete discussion about the student's record.
To schedule an individual meeting or for more information, please contact Anne McLernon.
