Hear from fellow alumni representing a variety of undergraduate degrees and careers. A casual alumni networking reception will follow the panel.

Julia Van Deren (COLL 1999)
CFA Institute Career Services
Julia VanDeren is the career services representative at CFA Institute, a global association and credentialing organization for investment management professionals. In this role she advises members and CFA Program candidates on strategic career management and job searching. In addition she liaises with corporate and executive recruiters and career coaches in order to deliver career resources, including a job board, in-person and virtual programming, and a resource portal, to constituents.
Julia is a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences (’99) and earned her Masters of Public Administration at VCU (’08).
Education
Anne Constant (EDUC 1972, 1979)
Sales and Performance Coach and Trainer for Ernst & Young; opening Jazzercise® studio/s in Northern Virginia.
Anne Constant is the President of Constant Motion, LLC, and owner/operator of Falls Church Jazzercise in Falls Church, VA. After a consulting/sales management career with Huthwaite, Inc., Ernst & Young, and Capgemini, she has worked for the past several years as an independent consultant to Fortune 500 and not-for-profit organizations in change management, sales effectiveness, and fund-raising. She is also a partner in North of Fifty, a firm that provides research, information, and real-time support to individuals and organizations in making the most of life's 'second act.'
Anne Constant did her undergraduate work at Duke University, and holds a Masters and Doctoral degree in Education from the University of Virginia.
She also completed graduate work in Business Administration at Georgetown University, the University of Chicago, and UCLA's Anderson School of Business.
In addition to her involvement with the University of Virginia, Anne is on the board of the National Capital Area Alzheimer's Association, and supports selected philanthropies in healthcare, education, and the arts. She also works on behalf of progressive political candidates on the local, state, and national level both on a professional and volunteer basis. In addition, she is an avid hiker and biker, as well as a certified JazzerciseR instructor.
Anne resides in Washington, D.C., is married, and has a college-age son, a stepson and daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
Engineering
Bob Bremer (ENG 1979, 1980)
Vice President for Capital One Financial Corporation.
As Vice President in US Card IT for Capital One Financial Corporation, Bob Bremer is primarily responsible for all IT Operational Support and Strategic Technology Infrastructure Development for several of Capital One’s Credit Card Operational Departments.
Bob joined Capital One from ExxonMobil Corporation in 1996 where he was a Division Engineering Manager responsible for development of Exxon’s oil and gas interests in the Prudhoe Bay Field on Alaska’s North Slope. Bob held various positions in Research, Engineering, Strategic Planning, Business Analysis and General Management with ExxonMobil Corporation. In those roles, Bob conducted technical and business studies for some of the world’s largest oil and gas fields located in the Middle East, North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Canada, and Alaska.
Since joining Capital One in 1996, Bob has held a number of different positions with Capital One including Director of Infrastructure and Finance for Risk Operations, Chief Operating Officer for the Young Adult Business Line, Director of Credit Policy Administration, Operations Director for Decisioning Systems in the Direct Marketing Center, and as Vice President in US Card IT. He has played a significant role building the operational infrastructure, operational processes and credit governance processes as Capital One has grown into one of the leading financial institutions.
Bob has served on the Board of Directors of the Science Museum of Virginia Foundation since 2000. He is currently on the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and Chairman of the Governance Committee. Bob has also served on the Advisory Committee for the Chesterfield County Career Development and Technical Center since 1998, and chaired the Committee for several years. He is active in many volunteer events throughout the Greater Richmond Area that are supported by Capital One.
Bob graduated with highest distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1979. He was awarded a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1980, an MBA from Houston Baptist University in 1996, and a Post-Graduate Certification in Public Management from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008.

Brittanie Bosselait (McIntire 2004)
University Recruiter, Booz Allen Hamilton
Brittanie Bosselait, ’04 Brittanie Bosselait currently works at Booz Allen Hamilton as a University Recruiter. Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading strategy and technology consulting firm that provides a broad range of services in strategy, operations, organization and change, information technology, systems engineering, and program management. Headquartered in McLean, Virginia, Booz Allen has 20,000 employees and generates annual revenue of over $4 billion.
As part of the University Recruiting team, Brittanie works to deliver business impact by attracting and hiring top University talent. She is personally responsible for the Firm's recruiting relationships at the University of Virginia, the College of William and Mary, Georgia Tech, and Duke University. Before joining Booz Allen in Feb 2007 she served as a University Recruiter at the Corporate Executive Board (CEB). Prior to that she worked as a Researcher in CEB's Human Resources practice, where she conducted best practices research for Fortune 500 companies on a variety of HR-related topics. She graduated in 2004 from the University's McIntire School of Commerce, where she concentrated in Finance and Accounting.
Brittanie currently lives in Alexandria, VA. Outside of work she plays soccer and also enjoys working out, reading, movies, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Carter's credentials include 25+ years of providing career services, instruction, career consulting, and coaching in both public and private institutions of higher education.
