- CAVLink
U.Va. has a special business relationship with NACELink to provide private-label, co-branded job listing and resume databases. New alumni users should log-in to Hoosonline and go to the Career Assistance page to obtain a password. If you would like to post a job, please visit the Employer Services page (www.career.virginia.edu/employers/jobpost.php) on the UCS Web site.
- Career Fairs and Other Recruiting Events
Alumni approximately 1-3 years since graduation may also want to utilize career fairs and other on-Grounds recruiting events. Review a centralized schedule of events that includes events appropriate for many industries and job functions. Please keep in mind that these events target entry-level positions.
- Interfolio
U.Va. alumni are eligible to use the credentials management service Interfolio. This online service allows alumni to tailor the setup of their credentials file and access the file 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- UCAN
The University Career Assistance Network (UCAN) is a career networking tool developed by the Alumni Association to help connect you with other U.Va. alumni. Over 18,000 alumni have agreed to serve as career contacts to help U.Va. alumni and students with informational interviewing and networking. UCAN's alumni career contacts come from a broad range of professions and fields, and provide advice and perspectives regarding career paths, job search strategies, and companies. UCAN, a free alumni career resource, is a searchable database which is a component of the HoosOnline community.
