We are pleased to announce a new member benefit—football parking at Alumni Hall. Beginning in the 2006 season, the parking lots at Alumni Hall, just a 10-minute walk to Scott Stadium, will be available on game days exclusively to U.Va. Alumni Association LIFE members. Members MUST show their life membership cards to lot attendants to gain free access at the Sprigg Lane entrances (street adjacent to ALumni Hall—on the north side). Make sure to arrive early though—spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Lots will open at 9 a.m. on Saturdays; 4 p.m. on October 28th.

We are fortunate that most benefits are made equally available to all of our members, however, just as VAF rewards levels of donations with preferred seating, so must we prioritize access to this limited resource. Alumni Association members receive a 10% discount on U.Va. Bookstores purchases, excluding textbooks. You must show your Alumni Association membership card at the time of purchase and may only receive one discount per day. Alumni Association members and their immediate families receive up to a $100 discount on all standardized preparation courses offered by Kaplan. Jefferson Vineyards, located just 10 minutes from Grounds, will offer Life members and their guest free, basic wine tastings. This offer includes glasses and the current portfolio (typically 6 to 10 wines).
