Room Description
The Annex, Photo Gallery and Terrace areas lie adjacent to the Jefferson Ballroom. They are the perfect areas to host cocktail receptions preceding ballroom events, to serve as event registration areas, or to simply add space and variety to your event.
The Annex features slate flooring and a working fireplace. For wedding receptions, the Annex is ideally suited for buffet, cake, gift, favor and place card tables. The Annex also adjoins the Virginia Room.
The Photo Gallery is an extension of the Annex that also lies adjacent to the Virginia Room. The Photo Gallery features historic photographs and memorabilia of the University and serves as a terrific conversation starter for any event.
The Terrace was remodeled in 2007 along with the Jefferson Ballroom. The Terrace features a brick and slate patio, as well as an outdoor bar. The Terrace is the perfect site for outdoor events, including wedding ceremonies, and serves as a wonderful spot for event guests to catch a breath of fresh air during ballroom events. The Terrace may also be tented for events.
