Pre-Event Check-in at Alumni Hall

Stop at Alumni Hall first to pick up your Reunion packet which includes your nametag(s), a copy of your schedule, an updated schedule of Reunion event times and locations, and a map of the University.
Parking
Free parking is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the Central Grounds Parking Garage, across from Alumni Hall next to Memorial Gymnasium. Pick up a parking validation pass at check-in. Very limited parking is available in the front and back parking lots of Alumni Hall.
Transportation for Events & Seminars
Transportation will be provided from Boar's Head Inn, Best Western Cavalier Inn, and Alumni Hall to all events and seminars. Buses will depart from each location 15 minutes prior to event start times. Transportation will be available following each event to return you to Alumni Hall, Boar's Head Inn, or Best Western Cavalier Inn. Parking is not available at event or seminar sites and alumni are encouraged to use the buses.
All of the buses that will be used in local traffic will be wheelchair accessible. The drivers are trained, University students. The only event for which the buses will not be wheelchair accessible is the Montpelier and Barboursville Excursion. If you would like to participate in this event but need to arrange for special access or transportation, please contact Melissa Oliver at 434-924-3095 or mo3a@virginia.edu.
Alumni Association and University staff will be present at all event locations to assist with loading and unloading of buses. Golf carts and wheelchairs will be available at the following events to provide additional assistance: Class of 1950 Cocktail Reception; Class of 1955 Cocktail Reception; Class of 1960 Lawn Procession, Champagne Toast and Induction Dinner; Carr’s Hill Reception; Alumni Hall Ballroom (wheelchairs only).

Meal and Dietary Requirements
Should you or your guests have dietary concerns or requirements, please include them in the comments section of the registration form. The Alumni Association will make sure that you are served meals that meet your dietary requirements.
Attire
The general attire for the reunion is casual. Events for which more formal attire is appropriate are listed as such in the brochure. The Welcome Dinner and luncheons are casual. Dress for the Thomas Jefferson Society Dinner, Class of 1960 Induction Dinner, and Carr’s Hill Reception is coat and tie/cocktail attire.
Local Accomodations
Rooms have been blocked at the Boar's Head Inn and Best Western Cavalier Inn until April 11, 2010. Please see our Lodging Page for more information.
